Want to turn your Field Notes notebook into a functional little planning powerhouse? These Field Notes stencils are designed to help you create clean, organized layouts without having to draw every box, line, tracker, and little planning detail by hand.
Please note that the grid spacing in Field Notes notebooks can vary slightly from page to page by decimals of a millimeter. Because of this, the stencil may not line up perfectly with the grid on every page. You may need to shift the stencil a teeny bit as you move farther down the page to keep everything aligned.
There are 5 stencil options available:

- Grid #4
- Lined
Grid #1-3 and the Lined options are full page templates - simply place it in your notebook and trace for a whole page layout! Grid #4 is designed as an all-purpose stencil that can be used to make your own layouts.
All 5 stencils are designed to work with the blank Field Notes notebook option, so you can create your own custom layout while still keeping everything neat and consistent.
Each stencil measures approximately 3.4" x 5.5" and includes a variety of functional planning elements, including grids, lines, boxes, trackers, checkboxes, circles, dividers, and small symbols to help you build a layout that works for you.
Some of the smaller & more detailed elements work best with a fine tip pen. My favorite pens that I use in my everyday planning are linked on the Amanda's Favorite Products page.
The stencils are made from 10 mil Milky Translucent. The thin, flexible material makes it easy to use around coils, discs, rings, and other bindings. They also slip neatly into your planner pocket, pencil pouch, or planner bag!
Before checking out, please confirm that you are purchasing the correct stencil for your planner or journal and review the listed dimensions and material thickness before ordering. Returns and exchanges are not accepted.

Shipping outside the US? Your country may charge import taxes, duties, or a carrier handling fee when your package arrives. Canadian buyers: Canada Post usually collects GST/HST plus a handling fee at delivery. If a package is refused or left unclaimed because of these fees, the item cost will be refunded once it’s returned to us; original shipping is not refundable.
